Baseball Operations Interns

Kordell started a baseball internship after he finished his baseball career, where he helped mainly in scouting and analytics, along with player development. This past year, he was an intern for the California Winter League doing baseball analytics. Kordell spent this past summer in Falmouth, watching Cape Cod games and knew he wanted to be a part of it. He was recently a participant in the 2023 MLB Diversity Pipeline Scouting Program. Kordell likes to spend his free time with a Fenway frank in his hand at a Sox game, or playing pickleball with friends.

Kordell will be joining the Commodores for his first year as the MLB Liaison.

He is coming from Fuquay-Varina, N.C., which is a small town just south of Raleigh. At High Point, Brian is a member of the Club baseball team where he serves as the team’s designated hitter. In his free time, Brian loves playing and watching sports, working out, watching movies and spending time with family and friends. Brian is ecstatic and eager to get back to the Cape for another great summer of Commodores baseball as the lead general manager intern!

He is a rising junior at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where he studies Sports Management, and Operations and Information Management at the Isenberg School of Management. This is his second season with the Commodores, but first in the GM intern position, as he worked with the game day staff last summer. Brady is excited to continue his time with the Commodores team and is eager to learn more about baseball operations.

She is in her third year at Oregon State University, majoring in both Kinesiology and Business Administration, while pursuing a minor in Sports Business. This is Amelia’s second year on Beaver Baseball’s DAM Squad as a player development, analytics and advanced scouting intern. She is thrilled to join a long line of Beavers that have been a part of the Commodore’s organization, and be able grow within her role. Amelia has spent many vacations on the east coast and can’t wait for a whole summer on the Cape.

He is a two-year batboy for the Commodores, and is returning for his third season with the team as the clubhouse intern. Wes plays shortstop for the Ocean State Outlaws. In the off-season, he keeps busy with Vex Robotics competitions and is a black belt in karate. Wes is excited for another great season with the Commodores!

Admin & Event Interns

Ashley is from San Diego, Calif., and is a junior at Texas A&M University, majoring in Sport Management and earning an Events Management Certificate. She competes on the Texas A&M gymnastics team and serves in a leadership role as Public Relations Officer. She is also the Recruitment Matching Coordinator for her sorority, Alpha Omicron Pi.

Baseball was one of Ashley’s many passions growing up, and even had the opportunity to attend several Cape Cod League games last summer. She is thrilled for the opportunity to be part of the Commodores 2024 team.

She is from Lafayette, Calif., and has spent time on the east coast in summer every year. She has worked as a marketing and events intern for UMass Athletics, where she works with various teams and focuses on customer experience and game day operations. Baseball has always been one of her favorite sports to attend with her family during the summers on the east coast. In her free time, she enjoys playing soccer and coming together with friends and family to watch sporting events. This is her first season with the Commodores, and she is excited to learn more and bring value to the team in any way she can!

Communications Intern

Hailing from the picturesque town of Adams, Mass., and being a proud Boston sports fan, Alexis brings the spirit of the city’s sports culture with her wherever she goes. The excitement and loyalty to her teams finds a new home as Alexis eagerly anticipates joining the Falmouth Commodores, where she aims to infuse her love for sports into her work. As Alexis embarks on this exciting journey with the Falmouth Commodores, the convergence of passion, education and love for sports promises an engaging and exciting future this summer in Falmouth.

Broadcasting & Media Interns

He also serves as a videographer for the Walter Cronkite Sports Network and regularly contributes to their weekly show, Cronkite Sports Live. This is Aiden’s third year calling summer collegiate baseball, having previously worked in the NECBL with the Bristol Blues and in the Cape Cod Baseball League with the Wareham Gatemen. He is excited to spend another summer on Cape Cod, experiencing all that Falmouth has to offer!

He works for Elon Sports Vision as a director, replay operator, graphics operator and shoulder/tripod camera for Elon’s sports broadcasts. He also serves as a sports videographer and editor for Elon Creative Services, where his videos are posted on social media. This is Sam’s first year working in the Cape Cod Baseball League, and as a lifelong Mets fan, this is a dream come true. He is very excited for this summer and what is to come!

Braden is a play-by-play broadcaster and production assistant for Hokies Athletics on the ACC Network, in addition to working as a broadcasting intern for Learfield Radio in Blacksburg. Braden is excited to return to the Cape for summer No. 2 after previously serving as the broadcast producer for the Wareham Gatemen in 2023. Braden is a native of Darien, Conn., where he spent four years as the voice of Darien High School Athletics for DAF Media. This summer, he looks forward to collaborating with the extremely talented Commodores Media Team, while also sharpening his skills in the areas of play-by-play, sideline reporting and broadcast producing.

She is from Acton, Mass., and has grown up going to Commodores games. She wants to pursue a career in sports media and reporting in baseball, and is thrilled to be coordinating the 'Dores social media channels this summer!

She currently holds a position as a property assistant for UMass Sports Properties (Learfield), where she focuses on sponsorship and audience engagement. This will be Emma’s first summer in the Cape, where she will be the voice of the Commodores and looks forward to an awesome season.

She writes game recaps and takeaways about MSU Athletics for Impact 89FM. She has covered Spartan volleyball, gymnastics, football and women’s basketball. Faith is super excited to be the web reporter for the Falmouth Commodores, and to spend the summer in Cape Cod. She looks forward to expanding her experience and meeting the team!

He currently works as an associate producer for CitrusTV, specializing in graphics production and social media promotion of on-air content. He also works in the sports departments of on-campus radio stations WAER and Z89. Off-campus, he has covered the IndyCar Series for multiple online publications over the past three years. Previously, he worked as a broadcast intern for the Normal CornBelters of the Prospect League. A native of the Midwest, Gabe is excited to experience the Cape and Falmouth for the first time, and sharpen his production skills as the ‘Dores Broadcast Director!

Hailing from Rockford, Ill., Gracie has spent each weekend this school year traveling to every BU men’s hockey game to provide fans full coverage through writing, photography, social media and podcasting. Gracie is also interning in athletic communications at Harvard Athletics this spring semester, and is excited to bring her multitude of sports media skills to the Commodores as a videography intern this summer.

He serves as a play-by-play broadcaster for KXSC Sports, the student radio station at USC, calling football, basketball and baseball. Additionally, he works as the play-by-play voice for the Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens, calling football and basketball. This summer, MJ looks forward to honing his craft in the play-by-play realm and making memories from a summer on the Cape.

During the school year, he works as a photographer and lead graphic designer for Emerson’s athletic department, and he is a member of the creative video team for Harvard University athletics. Last summer, he served as the graphic designer for the team’s centennial season, and is ecstatic to return in the role of graphic designer and photographer. Nate has been coming to Commodores games every summer for as long as he can remember, so there’s no place he’d rather be spending the summer of 2024.

He works as a production crew member and television play-by-play broadcaster for Big Ten Plus, covering Maryland Athletics for Big Ten’s subscriber network. Additionally, he serves as an on-air talent and production member for Terrapin Sports Central, the weekly sports newscast at Maryland, while also having written for the Boston Globe. This summer, Ryan looks forward to producing new, innovative concepts on the Commodores’ broadcasts and working alongside a team of talented broadcast interns.

He works as a video operations and recruiting intern with Rice Football. He has also interned with ESPN Events, assisting in the hosting of the Diamond Head Classic and Hawaii Bowl. He is excited to spend his first summer on Cape Cod, experiencing all that Falmouth has to offer!

Caleb is currently a junior at Syracuse University, majoring in Broadcast and Digital Journalism. Caleb can't wait for the season to get started and get to work with all the other interns!

Gameday Operations Interns

From Wakefield, Mass., this will be Amber’s first summer on Cape Cod with the Commodores. Currently the VP of Finance for Isenberg’s Women in Sport Management, Amber has grown a passion for sport from a young age through college basketball. A lifelong Tar Heel fan, Amber is also a huge Boston fanatic and will watch just about any game you put in front of her. She could not be more excited to work with the Commodores in gameday operations this summer!

He is a rising junior at Stonehill College, double majoring in Business Management and Sports Analytics. Brendan has enjoyed working as a student manager for the Stonehill baseball team for the past two years and seeks to pursue a career in professional sports. He is excited to have the opportunity to work for the Commodores again this season and contribute to the success of the team. Brendan looks forward to spending another summer on the Cape, making new friendships and great memories, and obtaining invaluable work experience. His interests include watching and playing sports, traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Chase was born and raised in Atascocita, Texas, a small town just outside of Houston. He currently resides in College Station, Texas. He will be attending Texas A&M in the fall where he will complete his degree in Sport Management.

Chase has family on the Cape and has spent time visiting nearly every summer of his life. As a child, he was introduced to the Commodores while watching games and attending youth clinics. This will be his first year as a game day intern.

When he finds himself with down time Chase enjoys playing golf, throwing a ball around and hanging out with friends with whom he shares an enthusiasm for sports. He loves all Houston teams and would love to work for one someday.

Welcome to the Falmouth Commodores Chase!!

He has a strong connection to Cape Cod, having spent his summers in Falmouth and attending Commodore games from a young age. As an active member of the University community, Jordan participates in the Association of Diversity in Sport Club and serves as an official for intramural sports. Beyond his academic and extracurricular commitments, he finds joy in playing sports with his friends, listening to music and spending quality time with his family. This will be Jordan’s first summer interning with the Commodores. Eager to gain valuable industry experience, Jordan aspires to build a foundation for a future career within the sports industry.

She majors in Sports Management and minors in Marketing. Katelynn is a member of Suffolk’s Cross Country and Track and Field teams. As a child, she spent most of her time watching her brothers play baseball or vacationing on the Cape. Katelynn is beyond excited to join the Commodores and turn her love for baseball into a life experience!

He is from Nashua, N.H., and spends his summers in Marshfield, Mass. This will be his first season as a game day intern with the Commodores and he is looking forward to learning about the process and preparation that goes into making a Commodores game so memorable. His interests include watching baseball, hockey and football, as well as playing golf.

This will be Tyler’s second summer with the Commodores, and he looks forward to utilizing his experience as a game day intern to help others perform and develop at a high level. Tyler was born and raised in Jericho, N.Y., where he grew up to be an avid Mets, Jets and Islander fan. At High Point, Tyler served as lead student manager for the school’s club baseball team for two seasons. Tyler’s outside interests include playing baseball and basketball, attending live sporting events, traveling and hanging out with friends.

She is majoring in Psychology and is interested in pursuing a career in marketing or communications. She loves sports and she played volleyball in high school, along with being an assistant volleyball coach for her high school team. Zoe loves working with others and was a summer camp counselor last year. She grew up in California, but she has been coming to Cape Cod every summer since she was a baby. Zoe’s hobbies include listening to music, spending time with friends and family, thrifting and watching horror movies. She is looking forward to meeting everyone and having a great season!
