Broadcasting

Captures live images of the 20 home games and various other videographic needs, such as advertisements, sideline reports, etc.
Design, create and perform public address content for all home games, from pre-game to post-game.
Write in-depth recaps and analysis of every home and away game. May also write some exclusive stories on players, coaches, etc.
Coordinate with the director, graphics designer, videographers and broadcasters in an assistant video director role to produce a seamless broadcast.
Oversees the creation of engaging content for the broadcast by coordinating with talent and others to plan, shoot and edit live events and highlight reels.
Research players and teams to provide engaging real-time commentary and post-game analysis of home and away games.
Produce and perform on-camera reports and interviews players and coaches during all home and away games.
Communications & Marketing
Create and manage the Commodores graphic design portfolio for all live stream, web, social media and print.
Writes compelling communications in a variety of formats – news stories, press releases, human interest articles and web content – to share with our fans and media outlets.
Develops and posts engaging social media content, including designing graphics and short videos, on the Commodores' social platforms.
Takes live action shots during the game, off-field activity and headshots for various uses. Edits photos and posts to the photo storage platform.

Run pre-game ceremonies and fan activities, including raffles, merchandise, concessions, community events, kids’ events and mascot, among other activities.
Confirm scheduling of pre-game community groups, sponsors, musicians and other special guests appearing at games, and set-up all off-field activity at games.
Provides analytical scouting reports to assist with roster decisions, prepares opponent scouting reports and visualizations/tables on players and opponents for coaching staff usage, among other responsibilities.
Coordinates with scouts attending home games – creates roster/stat sheets, updates the Commodores scout Twitter account and other duties.
Assists with equipment management and field preparations, maintains team facilities, produces game stat sheets, manages bat kids during the game, and communicates with Game Day and Fan Relations regarding on-field ceremonies and player appearances.
