Falmouth Commodores elect board members at annual meeting

January 22, 2026, Falmouth, MA – The Falmouth Commodores organization is pleased to announce new members to its Board of Directors. At their January 20th meeting, six At-Large members and a new Director of Administration were elected to the Board. All individuals assumed their positions effective immediately.

Elected as At-Large members to the Board are:

  • Pat Barksdale – Pat continues to serve on the Board and is Director of the Housing committee. Before retiring, Pat owned a tax and management consulting business.
  • Kevin Coen – Kevin is CEO of Enviroscent, Inc. and has previously served as CEO at CPG companies (Lindt Chocolate, Swarovski Crystal, Crabtree & Evelyn, Fannie May Confections, and The Popcorn Factory).
  • Larry Ginsburg – Before retiring, Larry served as a negotiator and organizer for teachers’ and hospital workers’ unions. He was previously involved with the Cal Ripken Collegiate Baseball League. Larry and his wife are a Commodores’ host family.
  • Kim Morneau – Kim is the co-founder and owner of Shoreline Research Group. She is Director of the Commodores Youth Clinics and, with her husband and son, is a Commodores’ host family.
  • Laura Murphy – Laura has previously served the Commodores as head athletic trainer for 13 years. She is the Associate Athletic Trainer at Wheaton College.
  • Don O’Malley – Don has served on the Board and as Director of Medical Operations for 26 years. He also serves as the Medical Director for the Cape Cod Baseball League and is an orthopedic surgeon at Cape Cod Healthcare.

Laurie Brown was elected as the Director of Administration. Laurie has previously served on the Commodores Board and as a member of the Fan Relations Committee. She will join executive officers, President Chris Fitzgerald, Director of Financial Operations Steve McAllister, Vice President and Director of Fundraising Don Doherty.

Commodores President Chris Fitzgerald shared, “I am excited to welcome the new Board members and thank those members who have or continue to support the organization. The experience that our Board Directors, new and continuing, bring to the organization will serve us well as we continue to deliver competitive collegiate baseball to Falmouth.”

The following individuals, who most recently served on the Board, will stay involved with the organization as committee directors. They include Joanne Hyde (Director of Merchandise), Cathi Ingersoll (Director of Marketing & Communications), Neil Magner (Director of Facilities & Capital Planning), Mark Ordway (Director of Game Day), and Allen Russell (Director of Broadcasting).
