The Y-D Red Sox and Harwich Mariners played 12 innings on Saturday, ending in a 6-6 tie before the game was suspended due to darkness. They resumed play at noon on Sunday, with Ryder Brooks taking the mound.
Ryan Gerety singled to lead off the 13th inning, but was thrown out trying to advance to third base on a single by Patrick Fultz. With a runner on first base and two outs, Aiden Robbins sent a ball to right field in the direction of Will Baker. Baker misjudged the ball, allowing it to fall behind him. Fultz came around to score, giving Harwich a 7-6 lead.
Y-D went down in order in the bottom half of the inning, wrapping up the game after 13 innings. The two teams will face off at Whitehouse Field on Sunday evening, with Game 3 scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
