
HYANNIS, MA., June 28, 2026 - Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox first baseman Tommy Goodin and Chatham Anglers right-hander Oliver Pudvar have been named the Franklin Sports Player of the Week and the Baseball Lifestyle 101 Pitcher of the Week, respectively, for the week of June 21-27, the Cape Cod Baseball League announced today.
Goodin, a slugger out of Vanderbilt University, went 7-for-17 with a double, three home runs and five RBI across four games for the Red Sox, boasting a .412/.412/1.000 slash line and a 1.412 OPS. His standout performance came June 21 against Harwich, where he went 2-for-5 with two home runs and four RBI. Goodin kept his foot on the gas five days later against Hyannis, going 3-for-5 with a double and another home run to close out one of the week’s most impressive offensive showings.
Pudvar, a right-hander from the University of Connecticut, was equally dominant on the mound. Over 6⅔ scoreless innings across two appearances, he posted a 0.75 WHIP with seven strikeouts while surrendering just four hits and one walk. He opened the week June 21 with a start against Hyannis, scattering two hits over five innings with four strikeouts and no walks to earn the win. He came back out of the bullpen Saturday against Harwich, striking out three over 1⅓ innings to record a hold. Pudvar finished the week with a 0.00 ERA.
