
HYANNIS, Mass. 一 The Cape Cod Baseball League is proud to share a record 15 Cape League alumni were selected in the first round of the 2024 MLB Draft, which includes the comp rounds before the second round.
Travis Bazzana (Falmouth '23) headlined the top of the draft, becoming the sixth Cape League player in seven years to be selected with the No. 1 pick in the MLB Draft.
The Falmouth Commodores led the Cape League with five first-round selections followed by three former Chatham Anglers.
Last year’s MLB Draft featured 10 Cape League first-round selections while there were 12 in 2022 and six in 2021.
