HYANNIS, Mass. - The Cape Cod Baseball League (CCBL), the nation’s premier summer collegiate baseball league, announced Milton CAT as the presenting sponsor of CCBL Opening Day for 2026. As part of this partnership, Milton CAT will be featured prominently throughout all five Opening Day games on Saturday, June 13.

Milton CAT will also activate a #BuiltForSummer Sweepstakes through which one lucky fan will win the opportunity to throw out a ceremonial first pitch during this summer’s Playoffs. This shift represents an effort from Milton CAT to express support for the Cape Cod community by helping kick off the Cape League season and engage with fans throughout the summer.

“We are incredibly proud to welcome Milton CAT as the presenting sponsor of our 2026 Opening Day. Their commitment to the Cape League has been a cornerstone of our success for years, and this expanded partnership is a testament to the deep, longstanding relationship we share,” said Andrew Lang, President of the Cape Cod Baseball League. “As we prepare for the start of the 2026 season, there is excitement across the Cape, and we couldn’t ask for a better partner to help us kick off what promises to be an unforgettable summer of baseball.”

“Year after year, so many of our employees and customers express their appreciation for our involvement with the Cape Cod Baseball League. The experiences that the Cape League provides during the summer months make it a partnership we really value. With the Cape League being formed in 1923, and with this year being Caterpillar’s 100-year anniversary, 2026 is going to be extra special,” Milton CAT Director of Marketing Dean Swartz said.

Previously the presenting sponsor of the annual CCBL All-Star Game, Milton CAT’s continued investment in the Cape Cod Baseball League underscores its commitment to the communities that make Cape Cod such a special place each summer. This partnership plays an important role in enhancing the fan experience while championing local traditions and bringing people together. The Cape Cod Baseball League is proud to partner with Milton CAT to help ensure Opening Day - and the entire season - remains a memorable and meaningful experience for players, fans and families.
