The 2024 Cape Cod Baseball League All-Star Game was once again presented by Milton CAT, one of the league’s longtime partners. This was Milton CAT’s third consecutive year sponsoring the annual event.

Established by the Milton family in Concord, New Hampshire, in 1960, Milton CAT has established itself from the ground up and currently spans 14 locations in the six northeastern states of Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, and Upstate New York. With over 1,600 employees, the company is constantly growing.

Milton CAT is the comprehensive provider of Caterpillar machines, engines, generators, technology, parts, and services in the Northeast. Its earthmoving and power generation products can be found in data centers, hospitals, commercial fishing boats and ferries, and construction sites of all sizes. The company is unwaveringly passionate about offering premier products, empowering employees, and delivering excellent customer service.

With one of its locations in Wareham, Milton CAT is connected closely to the Cape League and enters its sixth year as a partner in 2024. When the opportunity arose in 2019, the investment made perfect sense to Milton CAT for a number of reasons: “The most important is that the Cape League is just a great institution… it just has a great reputation, and that’s never changed,” said Dean Swartz, Communications Director at Milton CAT.

Devoted to growing as a company and providing exceptional service to the communities it serves, Milton CAT demonstrates its commitment to customers and employees across Cape Cod through its partnership with the CCBL.

As its territory includes New England and Upstate New York, the company recognizes that attendees at CCBL games represent these locations. “If there is anything we want to get out of [the partnership], it’s not business, it’s more exposure to new employees, so we see it as a great vehicle there,” Swartz said.

Both the Cape League and Milton CAT share aligning values that help make their partnership successful. Milton CAT is committed to being community-driven and is extensively involved in the healthcare systems of the towns it serves, as it is a part of the company’s mission to give back. Similarly, the CCBL has long been immersed in the Cape Cod and baseball community each summer season.

The relationship between the two has “no downside,” according to Swartz, who notes that many employees at Milton CAT enjoy attending CCBL games each summer and seeing their hard work represented in each game. “They enjoy the announcements and the banners when they go to the game, and they’re proud and happy to support it,” he said.

The Cape Cod Baseball League is continually grateful for Milton CAT’s support and partnership. For more information about the company, visit https://www.miltoncat.com/.
