The Falmouth Commodores are pleased to announce Jack Dahm as their new field manager. Dahm will replace coach Jarrod Saltalamacchia, who has taken a position with the University of Miami as director of player development. Additionally, the Commodores are delighted to announce that Beau McMillian will return as assistant head coach for the Commodores.

Dahm has 31 years of experience as a head coach in collegiate baseball, including 20 years in coaching at NCAA Division I schools and five years as manager of a collegiate summer league. His extensive baseball resume includes his current position as head baseball coach at Mount Mercy University, head baseball coach at the University of Iowa and head baseball coach at Creighton University, his alma mater. He compiled 800 career wins while coaching at these schools, as well as numerous tournament appearances.

As manager of the Clinton Lumberkings, a collegiate summer team playing in the Prospect League, since 2021, Dahm led the team to the playoffs four out of five years and won the Northwest Division Championship twice. He has also served as a baseball analyst for the Big Ten Network and is general manager for Dahm Baseball 10, LLC, which operates youth baseball leagues, camps and private lessons.

Dahm expressed that “I am honored and excited with the opportunity to lead the Falmouth Commodores into the future and continue to build on their previous success and tradition. I do want to thank Mount Mercy University for allowing me this opportunity and the Clinton LumberKings for the past five summers. I am excited to get to work with Beau on putting together a team and coaching staff that will bring a championship to Falmouth.”

McMillan, a veteran college coach, joined the Commodores in 2025 as the assistant head coach and director of the youth developmental baseball clinics. He has served as associate head coach at Palm Beach Atlantic University and previously at his alma mater, Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida. While at Lynn University, he was part of the Fighting Knights’ NCAA Division II National Championship team in 2009. McMillan has also served as manager of the Delray Beach Lightning, a summer collegiate team that plays in the South Florida League, for 10 years, winning the South Florida Collegiate Baseball League Championship in 2022.

McMillan began his professional career with the Gulf Coast League Marlins, advancing to the Marlins' Triple-A affiliate, the Albuquerque Isotopes. After retiring from his playing career, he worked with Perfect Competition, a company that promotes performance enhancement, professional development and sports nutrition.

“Both Jack and Beau have impressive coaching and player development track records. Jack has an enormous baseball network through not only his coaching experience, but his involvement on the College World Series Board of Directors and as a member of NCAA Division I advisory committees. Beau, also with an impressive network, revamped and revitalized the Commodores’ youth baseball clinics this past season,” said Bob Curtis, Falmouth Commodores president. “We are excited that this coaching team will be leading the Commodores in 2026.”
