Bourne is coming off a playoff-clinching win over the Harwich Mariners, while Hyannis is searching for a bounce-back win after a 15-7 loss to Falmouth.

Last Time Out - Bourne
It took a while, but the Bourne Braves finished strong against the Harwich Mariners to secure a 9-3 win. Both teams started off strong, scoring a run each in the top of the first. From there, both offenses disappeared. The Mariners were no-hit through the first 4.2 innings and the Braves couldn’t string a rally together. Harwich scored on a wild pitch in the fifth inning, taking their first lead of the night. Still down 2-1 in the top of the eighth, the Bravos rallied. A six-walk, four-hit frame not only gave Bourne a lead, but made the win unreachable for the Mariners.
Last Time Out - Hyannis
After a big win over Bourne on Thursday, the Harbor Hawks suffered a tough loss on Friday. Right from the start, Falmouth demonstrated control of the game. The Commodores put up crooked numbers in the second and third to take a 5-0 lead. Hyannis and Falmouth would go back-and-forth over the next few innings, with the Harbor Hawks coming within a run of the lead after the seventh. The Commodores, however, turned the game into a blowout in the end. A four-run eighth and three-run ninth gave Falmouth an eight-run lead that Hyannis couldn’t find an answer to. The Commodores finished the game out-hitting the Harbor Hawks 21-7.

The Harbor Hawks are one of the few teams with a series lead on the Braves this season. Hyannis is 2-1 against Bourne, with their most recent win coming on Thursday night.
Player to Watch - Bourne
After a wicked-hot stretch over the last few games, Blake Schaaf is filling the hole Andrew Costello left in the Braves’ lineup. The Braves’ shortstop has multi-hit games in each of his last five appearances, posting a .591 batting average and 1.291 OPS over that span. With his hitting streak, Schaaf has taken the team lead among qualified hitters in both batting average (.367) and on-base percentage (.461).
Player to Watch - Hyannis
Matt Einich (West Virginia) is a guy to keep an eye on for the Harbor Hawks. The infielder recorded the Harbor Hawks’ only multi-hit game in yesterday’s loss, going 2-for-4 at the plate with a walk. Einich had hits in each of his previous four contests too, giving him a five-game hit streak coming into today’s matchup.
