Brewster’s Pantier and Braves’ Kircher Earn Weekly Honors

HYANNIS, Mass., July 12 2026 - Brewster Whitecaps shortstop Holden Pantier and Bourne Braves right-hand pitcher Jackson Kircher have been named the Franklin Sports Player of the Week and Baseball Lifestyle 101 Pitcher of the Week for the week of July 5 - July 11, the Cape Cod Baseball League announced Sunday.

Pantier, an infielder from Walters State Community College, earned his honor after batting .353 (6-for-17) along with a .500 on-base percentage, a .529 slugging percentage, and a 1.029 OPS across five games. He had three doubles, four RBI and two stolen bases as he led Brewster to a 4-1 week. Pantier opened the week going 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI against Hyannis on July 5 before a 2-for-4 effort, including a double and two RBI, against Harwich on July 8. He capped off the stellar week with a 2-for-3 performance against Cotuit, where he drew two walks and stole two bases on Saturday, July 11.

Kircher, a right-hander from the University of Arkansas, was dominant in the bullpen for Bourne, tossing four scoreless innings across two relief appearances. He allowed no hits or walks and recorded four strikeouts. The reliever contributed 1.1 innings as part of Bourne’s combined no hitter on July 5 against Falmouth, the first no-hitter in the Cape League since 2022. He finished the week on July 11 against Falmouth, hurling 2.2 hitless innings in another Bourne victory. Kircher recorded a 0.00 WHIP and did not allow a single baserunner all week.
