Host a Hawk

Host Family Handbook and Questionnaire

The best collegiate baseball players in the country will be headed to Cape Cod next summer and are looking to join your family as they chase their dreams of becoming a Major League Baseball player.

The Hyannis Harbor Hawks are a non-profit, volunteer-based organization that rely on host families to host our players during their stay. Truthfully, the host families are the backbone of our organization. Many players become extremely close to their host families and form a life-long relationship. Host families have been invited to their former player’s weddings, MLB games and more. Hosting is also a great opportunity to become part of a fun community on the Cape. Still not convinced? Check out our Twitter @harborhawks to hear what some of our former players who are in the MLB have to say about their experience living with host families.

Hosting details:

  • Host families receive a $125 weekly stipend per player

  • You are required to provide one (1) meal a day for your player(s)
