COTUIT, Mass. — Next Saturday, second baseman Jarren Advincula, third baseman Ryne Farber, left-handed pitcher Payton Manca and catcher Jack Natili will represent the Kettleers at Red Wilson Field in the 2025 CCBL All-Star Game.
All three position players selected will start the game for the West Divison.
This is nothing new to Advincula (Georgia Tech), who is slashing .360/.432/.427 this season. The infielder received the same honor last year in his first season with the Ketts.
“It’s the expectation now,” the second baseman said. “(When) you come up here again, you hope that you come close to what you did last year. I’m really grateful for the opportunity.”
Advincula will have a familiar face with him in the infield. Auburn-bound Farber will be just 90 feet away.

The two have been instrumental in the success of the Kettleers this year, combining for 53 hits and 18 RBIs. Farber knew of Advincula prior to being teammates, and the reigning Cape League batting champion has lived up to every expectation.
“I was excited to see how he goes about his business,” Farber said. “He’s been everything I expected him to be and more. He’s a great teammate.”
Farber has put together quite the summer campaign for himself. He has started in all 22 games the Ketts have played and swiped five bases.
“I’ve had stretches this year where I haven’t played like (an All-Star),” Farber said. “I’m trying to preach consistency.”

After a slow start to the season, the red-hot Natili will catch starting pitcher Trever Baumler of Falmouth. In the last week alone, the Cincinnati Bearcat has put together the best offensive stretch in the league, hitting five home runs and knocking in 16 runs for the team.
“I always knew I could compete at this level,” Natili said. “It’s good to be resilient and come out of the early struggles.”
Cotuit will have one representative out of the bullpen: Manca. The Florida State hurler and Massachusetts native has been dominant on the mound this year, posting a 1.69 ERA in 16 innings.
“This league is my dream league,” Manca said. “I always came to games when I was little, and (the selection) is a dream come true.”
