The Wareham Gatemen Baseball team, one of 10 teams in the Cape Cod Baseball League (THE premier collegiate summer baseball league) is preparing for another season of great baseball. Fans from near and far will pack Spillane Field to cheer on top collegiate ballplayers from across the country! The season runs from June 14 to mid-August.
An important part of making the fans’ 'ballpark experience' memorable is the food. At Spillane Field, we offer a wide selection of ballpark food including burgers, dogs, fries, chicken tenders, sausage, linguica, nachos, candies and beverages. The list goes on!
And we’re asking for your help.
Volunteers are needed to help cook and serve the various snacks and meals at our concession stand. The four main activities at the stand include taking orders, cooking the food, preparing the orders, and giving the food to the customers at the pick-up window.
It can be busy. But if you like to interact with people, and want to give them a truly memorable ballpark experience, consider helping us out! You can volunteer for a single game, a few games or join us for the full season. No experience is required. Just a willingness to pitch in.
