After one of the best games of the Cape Cod Baseball League season in game one, the Bourne Braves and Hyannis Harbor Hawks will face off again tonight. The Braves scored a series-opening 12-11 win on Friday night, putting them just one game away from the CCBL Championship Series. Game two will be hosted tonight at Doran Park, with first pitch set for 6 p.m. ET.

Last Time Out - Game One
The Braves and Harbor Hawks put on a show in game one of the West Division Finals. The matchup started in favor of Bourne, who put up eight runs over the first three innings. The Braves carried a 9-2 lead into the bottom of the fifth when the tides changed. Hyannis scored three runs in the frame and added five more in the sixth inning to take their first lead of the contest at 10-9. Needing a spark, Austin Hawke (Wake Forest) came through for Bourne with a three-run double in the eighth, his fifth hit of the night. The Harbor Hawks tried to rally in the ninth, but Bourne’s Connor Lehman (Alabama) shut the door with a strikeout to end the game.
Player to Watch - Bourne
There may not be a player in the world hotter at the plate than Austin Hawke is right now. Three games into the postseason, the rising junior has collected 10 hits, more than he had in the entire regular season. Hawke’s .769 batting average is the best of any player on the Cape this postseason.
Player to Watch - Hyannis
Though being outshined by Hawke, Hyannis’ Taylor Kirk (Fordham) has put together a great postseason performance. The Harbor Hawks’ shortstop is 6-for-10 at the plate and holds the second-best batting average (.600) of any player this postseason. During the regular season, Kirk played in 32 games for Hyannis and hit .228.
