Next Saturday, seven Kettleers will compete in the CCBL’s 2026 All-Star Game. Representatives are second baseman Noah Coy, shortstop Dawson Park, third baseman J.J. Moran, outfielder Landon Beaver, catcher Jesse Di Maggio, pitcher Truitt Manuel and pitcher Chase Van Ameyde.
Coy and Moran were also given the starting nods for the West Division. After slow starts to the season for both, they have broken out over the last few weeks and are top three on Cotuit in batting average and hits. The chance to start in such an important game is an honor for the pair, who cannot wait to take the field.
“I’m super grateful for the opportunity,” Coy said. “Growing up as a kid you dream to play college baseball and be on the Cape, so I’m very honored and thankful that the coaching staff and my teammates put me in this situation.”
Beaver, Park and Di Maggio will be reserves for the West. All three have contributed heavily to the Kettleers since Opening Day. Beaver and Park are amongst the team’s best qualified hitters in batting average and extra-base hits. Meanwhile, Di Maggio has been a steady force behind the plate for Cotuit.

Manuel and Van Ameyde will represent the West out of the bullpen, just like they do for the Kettleers. The pitchers are incredibly deserving, with Manuel allowing zero earned runs and Van Ameyde throwing over 16 strikeouts per nine innings. Both look forward to the opportunity to prove their worth against the league’s best.
“I’m ready to go out there and have some fun,” Manuel said. “This is the best league in the world, and I can’t wait to show the world what I’ve got.”

Additionally, outfielder Brady Christman will be representing Cotuit in the 2026 Home Run Derby. Though Christman has never done a home run derby before, he has no doubts about his ability to out-slug anyone in the league.
“‘I’ve never done a home run derby before, but during batting practice at Fenway Day I was trying to hit home runs and got one over the Green Monster,” Christman said. “If I can do it there I can do it anywhere.”
The Kettleers having seven players in the All-Star game highlights the depth this team has. With the league having some of the best college players on the planet, Cotuit is proving they have elite talent.
“I think we deserved to have all these All-Stars,” Moran said. “I think it speaks to how much talent we have as a team and it’s been showing in the past few games.”

To see the seven Kettleer All-Stars, fans can go to Whitehouse Field June 18. The game will start at 6:05 p.m. EDT, and fans are advised to arrive early to get a ticket.
