Internships

The Cape Cod Baseball League (CCBL) offers a unique internship program for aspiring professionals in a number of sports-related fields. In 2027, interns will gain invaluable experience working alongside experienced professionals. The program provides a hands-on opportunity to learn about various aspects of the baseball industry, including sports administration, scouting, media relations and more. For 2027, internships are broken into four departments: Baseball Operations, League Administration, Cape League Media and Cape League TV. Each department works towards the same goal of promoting the Cape Cod Baseball League brand to a broad audience.

League vs. Team Internships

Please note that CCBL league-level internships are entirely distinct from team-level internships. League office positions focus on overarching league administration, league-wide media and central brand promotion. If you are interested in working directly with one of the 10 individual franchises (e.g., game-day operations, local venue management or team-specific baseball operations), you must apply directly through that franchise. Applicants interested in team roles should visit each individual team's website to learn about their specific internship opportunities and application instructions.

Benefits of the Internship Program

  • Gain valuable hands-on experience working for a premier summer collegiate league.
  • Work closely with experienced professionals in the industry.
  • Opportunity to attend games and events.
  • Networking opportunities with industry leaders.

Application Process

To apply for the CCBL internship program, please navigate through the openings below and find the internship you are interested in. Please apply for only one league internship; you will be notified if the League feels you are a better fit for a different department.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis while positions remain open. For more information, please visit our website at CapeCodLeague.com.

Note: The CCBL internship program is highly competitive, and not all applicants will be selected to move past the initial submission stage. We make every effort to inform all applicants of their status.
