Brody Copithorne is an 11-year-old boy who plays baseball, football, lacrosse and basketball. He currently is on the Mass. Hurricanes 11U Elite team. Last year, his team made it to the Final Four! Brody is a pitcher and a second baseman. He lives in Mansfield, Mass., with his parents and three siblings. Brody is such a great kid who gives 100% to any sports team he is a part of, and he always with a smile on his face!
Braves Bat Kids
Tyler is in his third season as a bat boy for the Bourne Braves. He plays four sports regularly but baseball has always been the one he is most passionate about. He is an honor roll student at BIS, excels in gym class and was given the Pete Rose award by his gym teacher for outstanding effort in extreme dodgeball and volleyball/nuke-em. Tyler fell in love with baseball while attending Bourne Braves camps during the 2021 season. He met players like Peter Burns and Dalton Rushing, who remains his favorite player to this day. He stays in touch with Dalton and Pete, and has been to see each of them play in college. He dreams of playing professionally with Dalton someday.
Lucas is a rising third grader from Bourne. He is a sports enthusiast who loves to cheer on the Braves. In the summer, you can find Lucas fishing and hanging at the beach with his friends. He is excited for his first summer as a bat boy. Go Braves!
John 'Jack' Farley is 12 years old from Plymouth, Mass. Jack plays for the U12 Sharks AAU team. He is a very versatile player and often catches, pitches, plays first base and center field. He also plays on the VFW Majors Little League team in South Plymouth. Jack has had a love of baseball since a very young age. This year he is excited to be traveling to Cooperstown, N.Y., with his Sharks team for a summer tournament. Jack also plays football, hockey and basketball on Plymouth teams.
Thomas Jones is excited to return for his second season as a bat boy with the Bourne Braves. He resides in Bourne, is eight years old and going into third grade. He is a lover of all sports! This year he has played football (for the Sandwich Bulldogs – who went on to win the Super Bowl for their division!), basketball and baseball. His hobbies are playing outside until it’s dark, riding his bike or rollerblades, playing street hockey or catch, playing MLB The Show and collecting all kinds of sports cards. He continues to be a diehard Boston sports fan for all New England teams.
Cooper is in his second year of bat boy for the Bourne Braves after an amazing 2023 season. Cooper is a rising third grader going to Bourne Intermediate School. He plays baseball for Bourne Youth Baseball and Cape Cod Baseball Club. He is ecstatic to be once again apart of the Bourne Braves organization.
Christopher Macuch is a seven-year-old ball player from Bourne, Mass. He plays on the U8 Gateway travel team as well as Bourne Cal Ripken League. Chris is a second baseman, and his favorite player is Ryan Fischer, who played the past two seasons for the Braves.
Hunter is an all-around sports enthusiast. He’ll be 12 years old and going into seventh grade at Bourne Middle School in the fall. This will be Hunter’s second year as a bat boy. He is thrilled to be returning after a wonderful summer last year. He’s excited to continue to learn and grow from his experience last summer. When Hunter isn’t playing baseball or playing a sport, you can find him doing agility training with his two dogs, Geneva and Maggie.
Mac Mohre is eight years old and will be in the third grade this fall. His first baseball game ever was a Bourne Braves game, and this is his four year attending Braves Youth Summer Clinic. Mac loves sports – especially hockey, lacrosse, baseball and golf. He likes math, being a big brother, swimming at the beach, cheering for high school hockey and playing with the boys next door. He hopes the Braves clinch another championship this year!
Brody is a 10 year old from Plymouth. He plays baseball, hockey and loves to fish. He has been playing baseball since he was four years old. This year, he will play for the 10U AAU Plymouth Sharks and for Plymouth Little League’s team Churchills.
Noah Onnis is 10 years old and lives in Plymouth, Mass. Baseball is his life. He plays on two teams in Plymouth, the Plymouth Little League as well as a Plymouth Sharks. He recently started taking lessons with the Cape Cod Baseball Club through Riptide. He is so excited to be a part of the Bourne Braves organization and has attended many games and camps over the past few years.
Henry lives in Mansfield, Mass., with his family. His two loves are baseball and football. He plays in town baseball and also plays for the club team The Hurricanes. He knows baseball stats like nobody’s business. Henry loves not only playing baseball but watching it as well. He is a diehard Boston College #birdball fan and also roots for the New York Yankees. He is excited for the return of Adonys 'Donny' Guzman this summer. He is even MORE excited to be a bat boy for the Bourne Braves! Go Braves!!
Liam lives with his family in Mansfield, Mass. His two loves are baseball and soccer. He plays in-town baseball and also plays for the club team the Hurricanes. Liam is a lefty pitcher who also loves playing first base. Two things about Liam: He loves playing baseball…but he also loves watching baseball. Liam a die hard Boston College #birdball fan. He very excited to be in the dugout and part of the team as a bat boy for the Bourne Braves.
AJ Selvaggi is 10 years old and is a passionate baseball player and fan. He plays club ball and little league in his hometown of Scituate. His positions are shortstop and catcher but enjoys pitching as well. In addition to baseball, AJ likes to fish, sail, golf and play his trumpet and electric guitar. He lives by the beach with his parents, sister, dog and two pet geckos.
Kellan Stanton is returning for his third bat boy season with the Braves. He is 10 years old and lives in Sagamore Beach. He will be entering fifth grade at Bourne Intermediate School this fall. His love for baseball started young and has continued to grow. You can catch Kellan tossing a baseball, kicking a soccer ball or dribbling a basketball on any given day!
Jake is excited to be one of the bat boys this season and is rooting for the Braves to three-peat. Jake is 11 years old and from Mansfield, Mass. He plays multiple sports, baseball, football, basketball and golf. His favorite sport is baseball, and he loves coming down to watch the Braves games on summer nights. Jake plays for Mansfield Youth Baseball and 11U AAU GBG Hawks. He plays pitcher, shortstop and center field.
