Summer on Cape Cod is all about the beaches, boating, and BASEBALL!

Can you imagine your child learning the fundamentals of baseball from a future major league baseball player? More than 200 Cape Cod Baseball League alumni are currently playing in the MLB. Every summer, the Cape League brings the best collegiate players to Bourne, and your child has the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of baseball from these talented athletes.

The Braves are proud to support the future of baseball by providing a FUN learning experience that your child will likely want to be part of year after year. Each day will focus on improving young players' basic skills while promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and, most importantly, having fun. Our clinic staff consists of Bourne Braves players and assistant coaches.

We hold two types of clinics. The first is an introduction to baseball designed for kids ages 5 to 12. The second is a more advanced clinic designed for kids 12 to 15 who already have experience playing the game.

All clinics are held from 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM at Doran Park.

Check-in and warm-up are from 9:00 to 9:30 AM.

Summer 2026 Baseball Clinic Schedule

Introduction to Baseball Clinics for 5 to 12 Year Olds

Within this age group, children are split up into age-specific subgroups (usually 5 to 8 and 9 to 12) where they will work on skills appropriate for their age and skill level for four days out of the week from 9 AM to 11:30 AM.

  • Week 1: June 29 — July 3 (M, W, Th, F)
  • Week 2: July 7 — 10 (Tu, W, Th, F)
  • Week 3: July 14 — 17 (Tu, W, Th, F)
  • Week 4: July 21 — 24 (Tu, W, Th, F)

Advanced Baseball Clinics for 12 to 15-Year-Olds

During the weeks of July 14th – 17th and July 21st – 24th, the Braves will hold a special clinic for older players who want to improve their level of play. Separate coaches will be assigned to this group who will work on a more specialized level of skill development.

Baseball Clinic Cost

Clinics for 5 to 12-year-old age groups are $95 per week.

Advanced clinics for 12 to 15-year-olds are $125 per week.

All clinics are held from 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM at Doran Park. Check-in and warm-up from 9:00 to 9:30 AM.
