Summer Youth Baseball Clinics

Can you imagine your child learning the fundamentals of baseball from a future major league baseball player. More than 200 Cape Cod Baseball League alumni are currently playing in the MLB. Every summer the Cape League brings the best collegiate players to Bourne and your child has the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of baseball from these talented athletes.

The Braves are proud to support the future of baseball by providing a FUN learning experience that your child will likely want to be part of year after year. Each day will focus on improving the young players basic skills while promoting the importance of teamwork, sportsmanship and most importantly, having fun. Our staff for the clinics is made up of Bourne Braves players and assistant coaches.

We hold two types of clinics. The first is an introduction to baseball designed for kids ages 5-12 and second is a more advanced clinic designed for kids 12-15 and who already have experience playing the game.

All clinics are held Monday through Thursday from 9-11:30 a.m. at Doran Park.

Check-in and warm-up is from 9-9:30 a.m.

Summer 2026 Baseball Clinic Schedule

Introduction to Baseball Clinics for 5 to 12 Year Olds

Within this age group, children are split up into age-specific subgroups (usually 5 to 8 and 9 to 12) where they will work on skills appropriate for their age and skill level.

The 2026 Youth Clinics schedule will be announced at a later date.

Advanced Baseball Clinics for 12 to 15-Year-Olds

The Braves will hold a special clinics for older players who want to improve their level of play. Separate coaches were assigned to this group who will work on a more specialized level of skill development. Dates for the advanced clinics will be announced at a later time.

Cost of the clinics

Clinics for 5- to 12-year-old age groups are $95 per week.

Advanced clinics for 12- to 15-year-olds are $125 per week.

All clinics are held Monday through Thursday from 9-11:30 a.m. at Doran Park. Check-in and warm-up from 9-9:30 a.m.

Summer on Cape Cod is not all about the beaches and boating, it’s about baseball too! Since 1867 the premier summer collegiate baseball league has entertained us with one outstanding season after another. Recently seasons for the Braves have been especially exciting with three league championships in four years (2022-23 and 2025).
