SOUTH YARMOUTH, Mass. — Jon LeGrande has done it all season for Bourne.
He's been a Day 1 guy, having been part of the lineup since he arrived to the Cape.
He was an All-Star. He's made plays. He's gutted through injuries.
The grind paid off for him, as following the Braves bringing home the Championship Series, he was named postseason MVP.
"A lot of fight throughout this playoff, and by the time we got to the championship, I feel like we got we had it all figured out," LeGrande said. "We had it all going, and everything went well within the last two games."
LeGrande finished the regular season with a .288 batting average to go along with 38 hits, 23 runs, 21 stolen bases, 15 RBIs and 14 walks.
His postseason stat line had him hitting a whopping .444 with 12 hits, nine runs, six walks, five RBIs and four stolen bases.
In his final game of the 2025 campaign, LeGrande went 1-for-2 at the plate with three walks and three runs.
"Oh man, it's probably one of my favorite baseball moments ever," LeGrande said. "This is something not many people experience, and I got the experience. I'm very grateful. I'm very lucky to be in this position. Taking it all in right now."
