The Wareham Gatemen appreciate the inquiries regarding the incident with center fielder Brendan Summerhill of Arizona at the Cape Cod League All-Star Game. Brendan is with his host family and he is resting. It appears he was fortunate not to have suffered any serious injury and is feeling better. Brendan has not just been a tremendous player for the Gatemen all summer, but an incredible teammate and valued member of the organization. He has a bright future and we all look forward to watching it unfold.
