Have fun with your friends and the team this summer at the Wareham Gatemen Clinics!

The Gatemen Baseball Clinic offers instructional baseball clinics for boys and girls ages 6-16. All participants have the opportunity to learn fundamental baseball skills from Gatemen coaches and players. The Clinic is broken into groups by age and ability. Clinic sessions run from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. Clinic fee of $95 per session includes a t-shirt. Sessions 1-5 (Advanced Skills) ran Monday through Thursday, with Friday being used as a potential rain date. First-day registration check-in opens at 8:45 a.m. at the press box. Advanced skills session was $145 for the week and now designed for players ages 10-16. Please be sure children arrive with sunblock applied, a bottle of water and a glove. Shorts, t-shirts, hats and sneakers are the preferred uniform. Bats are optional. 2026 Clinic Sessions

  • Week 3: July 13-16
  • Week 4: July 20-23
  • Week 5: July 27-30

All clinics are run at Spillane Field, home of the Gatemen, and are staffed by members of the 2026 Gatemen team and coaches.

Clinics are open to children ages 6-17 of all abilities, split into two groups:

Fundamentals of Baseball Group: ages 6-10; cost $95 per week; time 9-11:30 a.m., registration/drop off: 8:45 a.m.

Designed as an introduction to baseball for players of all skill levels with an emphasis on fun.

Advanced Skills Group: ages 10-16; cost $145 per week; time 9 a.m.-12 p.m.; registration 8:45 a.m.

Designed for players with prior experience that want to enhance their skills under the guidance of top college coaches and players.

Clinics will run from Monday to Thursday. In the event of a scheduled camp day being canceled because of weather, a makeup date would be scheduled on the Friday of the session week.

Please be sure children arrive with sunblock applied, a bottle of water and a glove. Shorts, t-shirts, hats and sneakers are the preferred uniform. Bats are optional.

Attendees are invited to Clinic Nights to take the field with the team for the national anthem. Please be sure to have your child wear their clinic t-shirt and meet by the Gatemen merchandise stand no later than one hour before game time.

The Gatemen offer scholarships to local youth in need of financial assistance. Parents may apply for financial assistance by writing to the Gatemen organization. A child may apply for financial assistance for one session.
