With the completion of the 2025 MLB Draft, the Cape Cod Baseball League once again saw alumni getting picked up by every team.
Harwich had 18 former players get their names called this week.
Henry Godbout was the first Mariner off the board. The former Virginia Cavalier was picked by the Red Sox with the 75th overall pick. Godbout played for the Mariners in 2024. He hit .306 in nine games with Harwich. This past spring, he hit .309 with eight home runs with the Cavs.
2025 Harwich Mariner Freddy Rodriguez was the final Mariner off the board. The Cubs snagged the pitcher from Hawaii in the 20th round. Rodriguez made a strong impression this summer with the Mariners. In four starts, he recorded a 3.71 ERA across 17 innings of work.
