We have many obligations to meet in order to bring you the best amateur baseball in the country each summer. It costs each Cape Cod Baseball League franchise more than $75,000 a year to field and operate their team.
We need your help in these areas:
Monetary donations to the team are always appreciated. All contributions to the Harwich Mariners are 501(c)(3) tax-deductible.
Members of the community generously open their homes to provide housing for our players. Many long-lasting relationships are formed when extending this hospitality. If you would like more information about hosting a Harwich Mariners player, please email mehendy@comcast.net.
Our players are hungry and need to be fed after each game. You can sign up at the merchandise booth to provide a meal and soft drinks for 30 players and coaches/staff (10) on a specific date. You can also donate money ($300), so a local restaurant can provide the postgame meal. All of our meal donators will be recognized on the daily stat sheet and over the public address system during the specific home game.
Another means of support for these amateur athletes is with part-time employment. Each player is provided with the opportunity to work for a local employer who is willing to be flexible regarding working hours.
We use two to three dozen baseballs during each game. If you would like to help out by donating the cost of a dozen or more balls ($100 per dozen), please let us know. Your name will be announced as donor of the game baseballs that evening. Please return foul balls to the merchandise booth as they are needed for the game. There will be a reward for helping us out.
The Harwich Mariners Yearbook is available for purchase at home games for $2.
